The 454 HO offers musclecar power at an economy price. This 454 features a brand new-that's right, brand new-Gen VI four-bolt big-block. It is outfitted with a forged piston, a forged steel crank, and forged connecting rods. It features a roller camshaft with .510/.540 lift , while cast iron cylinder heads deliver a fuel-saving 8.75:1 compression ratio. Horsepower comes in at 425 with 500 lb.-ft. of big-block torque. This engine is shipped to you complete with intake manifold, water pump, balancer, and 14 automatic transmission flexplate. And you're free to customize with your own carburetor, ignition, and starter to finish the beast.
If you're looking for big-block power from a small block engine, the Chevy ZZ383 is what you need. The ZZ383 mixes Fast Burn aluminum performance heads with a 383 stroker small-block that can produce up to 425 horsepower and 449 lb.-ft. of torque. With the ZZ383/425, you get the power of a big-block with the size and weight of an aluminum-headed small-block.
The 350 HO Base engine includes the same, important, power building elements as the Turn-Key and Deluxe versions above, but it comes without an intake manifold, carburetor or distributor, and has iron Vortec heads.
For the truck that needs the most low-RPM torque, GM has the HT 383 small-block.The engineers at GM stuffed this engine with reliable, torque-producing parts that will give you the hill-flattening power you need for years to come. The HT383 produces 435 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm, with more than 400 lb.-ft. of torque from 2500 rpm all the way up the 4000 rpm redline. This engine is equipped with heavy-duty rods, a 383 stroker forged steel crankshaft,, and hypereutectic pistons. The block is cast iron with 4-bolt main caps.

Included are the big-block V-8, four-bolt main and the fundamental parts you need so you only have to choose the fun parts. It comes equipped with aluminum cylinder heads with huge 110 cc combustion chambers. The valve train is just as open to keep the engine breathing easy. The forged steel crankshaft is paired up with a hydraulic roller cam.
