I purchased the air lift 1000 to help with my Ford Windstar. I have a Pop Up camper and tended to bottom out.
They arrived earlier than expected and I put them in myself a couple of days later.
The installation directions were clear. The only caveat I would add is that if you can expand the springs after you lift the tires off the ground it will be easier. Installation took me a bit over an hour because I was working on my back having just put the rear end up on jack stands. It was pretty straight forward. I was able to rout the air lines through holes in the frame (I would advise getting some grommets that fit the air hose to protect them. They also fit the holes just perfect).
I picked up the trailer the next day and it rode level with no problems. I didn't even know it was there!
I have only had them for a short time. I will try to add after I take my trip this week.
