      Comments about Air Lift 60817 Air Lift 1000 Coil Spring:

      Suburban and Tahoe owners be careful! This is far from a one hour project if you own a Suburban or Tahoe! I finally just put the wheels back on and will be calling around tomorrow to find a shop that can do it for me. On Suburbans and Tahoes, there is a rubber bushing at the top of the coil that has to be drilled out. The only way to get to it is to remove the coil which involves disconnecting half of the suspension to drop the axle low enough to get the coil out. I'm a pretty handy guy but this is too much for me to attempt to do in my garage without the right tools. I would imagine that a mechanic with a lift and pneumatic tools could get the job done in an hour, but not Joe Schmo with nothing but a floor jack and some basic tools! Once it's installed, I would imagine that it will work fine.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
