Parts required modification before installation

Comments about Auto Ventshade 194655 Ventvisor In-Channel 4 pc Smoke No Drill Installation:

The plastic tabs surrounding the ventshield, which is inserted into the channel were too big. A test fitting showed this and if forced in would crack the product. These tabs could not be cut as this would shatter and crack the product, instead the entire tab was gently ground down via a fine grit grinding wheel. Repeated test fittings were necessary to assure a trouble free fit in the channel. Aside from the fitment issue, the product looks good and works good. I recommend the product, but unless absolutely necessary, skip the in channel
version and get the regular outside surface mounted model and save a few bucks.........Thanks
