I ordered this exhaust to get that extra fun factor commuting to work in my new 2013 corolla. Needless to say, it claims it does not fit the 2013 but it has not officially been test fitted until now. I went against my better judgement and ordered after verifying that the 2012 & 2013 factory exhaust is in fact the same part number. I woke up this morning after the fast free 2 day shipment and braved the cold for what was actually a 10 minute install with a ratchet and ramps in my gravel driveway. It sounds wonderful at idle and loud during acceleration and then smooth at cruising speed on highway. I am excited to see if I get an improvement in fuel economy since it does help acceleration.

way different sounding then other 4 cylinder engines i love the sound it doesnt sound like a fart can on a honda civic way better quality sound, it has a nice throaty sound almost like a 350z but not as deep. maybe the other didnt put a cold air intake on his car, but on my 09 corolla xrs it sounds amazing with my injen cold air intake, if u want something thats not extremely loud or too quiet this is perfect. also the install was very quick and easy

I purchased this muffler because of the quality name of Borla. The quality is not the issue here. The sound is what I am not a fan of. This exhaust sounds great at idle and that is about it. Under accelaration it is extremely loud and tinny sounding. Sounds like what I call a coffee can muffler. I have already removed it from my car after 1 day.
