Aluminum waterpump

Really don't know about the conclusion to this yet, still working on it. Becareful here....I am finding this out the hard way. A high volume waterpump will pull water out of your radiator faster than the radiator can cool it, thus running your engine temp sky high.
I bought this thinking it would run a cooler engine temp in prep for a a/c installation on my 390 Ford. Now my temps are running well above 220 dgs. Going through different temps thermostats to try and keep the water in the radiator long enough to cool down. Going from a 180 to a 195 temp stat. Hope this works.....My fault though, the pump is doing exactly what its suppose to do, pump a high volume of water.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
