Hella 4" HID's - I need to read before I buy

Comments about Hella H71020171 Optilux 4 in. HID:

The lights are really nice, well built and look sharp! However, I didn't read far enough down into the description. I have a Road Armor bumper with wells for 4 - 4" lights. I currently have 2 - 4" PIAA Driving Lights and 2 - 4" PIAA Fog Lights in the bumper. I bought the HIDS to replace the 4" PIAA driving lights so I can move those to the rear of my truck. When I tried to insert the 4" HIDS into the Road Armor light well, they wouldn't even begin to fit.

I took them out and measured and the lens is 4" but that's it. I went to Streetside Auto's web site and looked at the specs and it clearly states that the 4" HIDS are 6" in diameter and 6" deep. I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do but it's clearly my fault for not reading. Don't tell my wife - she'd say "I told You!" :-)

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
