It will last long at least twice comparing to regular battery. I have it on one of my cars for 6 years, other one for 4 years and both still works great. Never have been needed to recharge both of them up to now. This is 3rd one for different car.

Original battery sizes for above 3 cars are much bigger, but smaller Optima Yellow is powerful enough to car running. Works great!

Had one of these in my 2000 Civic and it lasted 3 years until there was a problem with the alternator and I think it caused the battery to give up the ghost. I have had 2 of these in my subaru legacys in the past, one I sold after probably 4 years of solid service and the other is still being used and is about 3 years old as well.

No complaints. Just bought another one to replace the one that recently died and I'm going to figure out what caused it to die which I think was a faulty Electrical Load Detector in the fuse box that wasn't telling the alternator to up the power output and forcing the battery to do all the work.

This is the right battery for replacing the OEM battery in the first generation Prius. I accidentally ordered the Optima D51the first time, and that one had the terminals reversed, so watch out. It ended up costing me $65 to return it and the FedEx person was giving me a load of grief about it being hazmat, until I printed off the specs from the Optima site, which said it was a gel battery and safe to ship by air.

The D51R dropped right in, because the previous owner had already switched the terminals to US standard (they were originally the smaller metric terminals). I did have to pull the battery bracket and rebend it a bit to accommodate the Optima, which is a bit wider than the stock battery.

Very quick and helpful. Even tried to help me with the hazmat issue with returning the wrong battery. Spoke to the FedEx person (but she still wouldn't believe StreetSide - needed it in writing).
